Cashless Debit Card

If you are Australian & have not heard of this disgraceful card you need to listen up.  These cards are given to welfare recipients in some areas instead of cash being deposited direct to their accounts. The cost to taxpayers $10,000 per card per year for something that costed virtually nothing before.  I am happy to help with any questions on this.

  1. I came across this for the first time in N.T. (Katherine). I understand it's given to Aboriginal "welfare recipients" to control that they don't purchase alcohol. There is obviously much more to this and I will study the content via your link to inform myself. Thanks for sharing, Tracey.
