Complaint to Victorian Electoral Commission on Covid19 Socia Media Censorship

I have today lodged a formal online complaint to VEC on electoral interference by Facebook & Twitter. The receipt no. is at the bottom of the page.  It is not on that whenever there is an election people speaking out on health an identified key election issue are targeted.

"Quote from AEC webpage (https://www.aec.gov.au/Elections/electoral-advertising/)  "Electoral communications and authorisation requirements" Updated: 4 April 2022 "An electoral communication is a matter communicated, or intended to be communicated, for the dominant purpose of influencing the way electors vote in a federal election. This includes, but is not limited to, a communication that expressly promotes or opposes a candidate, political party, member or Senator. "

"Section 109 of the Constitution provides: When a law of a State is inconsistent with a law of the Commonwealth, the latter shall prevail, and the former shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be invalid." There is ergo legislation on what constitutes electoral material.

Facebook & pre election Twitter have both been censoring one side of the Covid19 argument. Part 1 page 8 of

“The Election Influence Operations Playbook” for the Belfer Ctr (https://www.belfercenter.org/publication/election-influence-operations-playbook-part-1) shows they have identified COVID-19 as an election issue.  They have both been systemically targeting people & responding with online censorship groups on their platforms who oppose the pro-Covid narrative for the political benefit of pro-Covid parties.

I am Administrator of a group COVID19-CONTROVERSY NOT CONSPIRACY on Facebook I have posted from multiple parties MPs & Senators that give anti-Covid information.  I have never sent out an invite to the group that could deem it a political group in  anyway & have no desire to be a politician.  I discourage & delete items that are clearly just political.

My suspensions are political & have been timed to suit key election lead ups. This time long term 90days for circulating VAERS data & that of expert virologist like Bossche who is not anti-vax. Last time it was just prior to the federal election & included St John's Ambulance DRABC chart.  I am a frmr Dpty Rescue Leader SES who did the wardens/welfare courses, also a TAFE comms course & DipAcc & I modelled Covid. I know what I'm looking at.  As a matter of health where fully informed consent is required prior to any treatment people are entitled to get the information that is being censored on health from them for political interests. (https://www.alrc.gov.au/publication/equality-capacity-and-disability-in-commonwealth-laws-dp-81/10-review-of-state-and-territory-legislation/informed-consent-to-medical-treatment/).

I have previously lodged a complaint to AEC. I was accepted public to the APH Senate Social Media & Online Safety where I have placed more information validating the interference methods (https://www.aph.gov.au/DocumentStore.ashx?id=8eb3abfb-057a-4bb4-85c7-dedc9d111ca1&subId=720658)

How to resolve - We cannot in good conscience prevent all health information getting out.  We can't logistically expect every single health notice be removed as it was not authenticated as electoral correspondence by AEC, VEC or any other Australian entity.  However, a few years back health was identified as one of the 4 top election issues on ABC & the actions of both Facebook & Twitter are interfering in our elections by their censorship.  If one opinion on health is the only one people are hearing how can fair electoral choice be made on how good health manager's Govts are.  Aside from meeting the requirements of fully informed medical consent.  Sense must prevail.  Our entire governance is fundamentally based on, natural justice from which we get "Audi alteram partem", translation Listen to the other side.  In my opinion Facebook Australia & Twitter should be advised they are breaching Australian laws by censoring health topics."
